Position Overview

This position will facilitate the implementation and continuous improvement efforts of Business Excellence throughout the organization. Job duties:
  • Support manufacturing operations.
  • Identify, manage and execute improvement initiatives.
  • Plan, manage and execute deliverables through proper and timely request and utilization of resources to ensure delivery of projects.
  • Provide coaching and training to all departments.
  • Develop and promote business excellence best practices.
  • Conduct frequent organizational assessments to measure adoption of excellence practices through-out the business.
  • Develop assessment reports including strength points, areas for improvements and recommendations.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to improve productivity through lean principles.
  • Initiate, recommend and implement changes to improve quality system compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness; eliminate defects, reduce costs and cycle times.
  • Develop manufacturing processes and create procedures, work instructions, forms.
  • Own overall responsibility and technical oversight for the planning, organizing, execution, and coordination of continuous improvement projects at key, strategic plastics suppliers.
  • Advise teams on issues related, validation requirements, appropriate test methods and manufacturing methods to meet quality, cost, and release to market objectives.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Details

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
    2. Four (4) to six (6) years of experience.
    3. Medical Device industry experience.
    4. Experience in leadership of continuous improvement and change projects.
    Desired Qualifications
    1. Master’s degree preferred.
    2. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with strong leadership skills.
    3. Proven ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to an ever-changing fast-paced environment.
    4. Process and results oriented.
    5. Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
