Position Overview

Responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, executive control, and completion of projects while remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization. Accountable for overall projects implementation and working with all stakeholders. Able to travel among facilities to supervise project progress. Job duties:
  • Lead, direct, and coordinate manufacturing internal resources and third-party for flawless execution of multiple projects.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of each functional service area and lead multifaceted functional teams effectively with little supervision or support.
  • Develop and manage Risk Mitigation Strategies for projects.
  • Facilitate and lead effective project meetings, manage change and conflict, and develop resource planning estimates to manage project workload and productivity.
  • Evaluate engineering test results for possible application to the development of systems or other uses.
  • Plan and/or prepare system layout documentation and detailed drawings.
  • Communicate project progress to Senior Staff.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    1. B.S. in Bioengineering or equivalent.
    2. Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in the medical device industry or equivalent.
    3. Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Project Management Software.
    4. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
    5. US Visa up to date.
    Desired Qualifications
    1. Ability to use computer-assisted engineering, design software, and equipment to perform engineering and design tasks related to projects.
    2. Knowledge and application of a disciplined project management process (Six Sigma and Project Management Professional certifications are a plus).
    3. Solid analytical and strategic capabilities and business acumen along with demonstrated work ethic, integrity, and professional conduct and appearance.
    4. Excellent communication skills.
    5. Experience developing high performance teams.
