Sr Technician, Quality

Position Overview

This technician supports the quality assurance activities related to development and manufacture of medical devices. The technician will work with engineers to address various product reliability and quality issues. • Assist engineers with product shelf life studies, packaging testing, sterilization validations, and other testing • Assist with activities related to equipment calibration, corrective/ preventive actions, nonconformance reports, internal audits and CAPA projects • Assist engineers with the design, development, and implementation of new packaging and labeling • Investigation and testing of product quality issues • Additional duties as assigned

Job Details

  • • Knowledge of medical product manufacturing and quality • Experience with testing of medical devices. Experience testing MicroVention products is helpful • Experience with testing of medical device packaging and labeling • Ability to read and prepare technical documentation • Computer skills including Word, Excel and Solidworks • Competency or ability to learn new technical software • Minimum of seven years of related experience • Good communication skills, including with associates in other departments and contacts outside of the company • High school diploma or equivalent
