Intern, Finance

Position Overview

The Finance Intern will utilize and refine financial models to support quantitative analysis of neurovascular markets and business opportunities. This role supports the Financial Planning and Analysis team in collaboration with other key functional areas across the organization, like Sales, Manufacturing Operations, R&D and Marketing.

Typical duties include:

  • Create financial models to project long range results and financial statements

  • Support development of corporate strategy

  • Improve current financial models by creating tools that can facilitate future data collection

  • Enhance financial reporting

  • Accept additional projects as assigned

Job Details

  • Required Qualifications

    • Working towards a MBA degree preferred

    • Experience working effectively and confidently in a team environment

    • Strong analytical and organization skills

    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

    • Detail-oriented approach to tasks and problem solving

    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities with attention to detail

    • Able to work with multiple Associates and prioritize projects to meet deadlines

    • MS Office proficiency with emphasis on Excel software

    Desired Qualifications

    • Interest/experience in financial analysis, especially in medical devices industry or manufacturing.

    • Strong software applications experience, Hyperion, Tableau, Power BI, SAP.

      Additional Information

    • This position will report directly to the Director of Financial Planning.

    • The primary work location for this position is Aliso Viejo, CA (company headquarters).
