Position Overview

The Professional Affairs and Clinical Education Intern will assist on various physician and sales training projects and processes. This role acts as key support to the Professional Affairs and Clinical Education department to assist with coordination, administration, logistic, and facilitation of key product and materials for various clinical education and physician training programs. Typical duties:

  • Help with organizing and coordinating various training courses and activities

  • Update timely Training and Marketing presentations to ensure accuracy and consistency

  • Support set-up and dismantle for in-house programs

  • Inventory and catalogue product samples to training activities

  • Assist with the organization and parceling of clinical education training material assembly: including printed materials, demonstration tools, product, and training models

  • Organize optimal logistic strategies, transportation modes and follow-up

  • Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, product logs and records for product samples, models, and materials to support training activities. Updates product inventory and readies marketing training models for various training programs

  • Assist with scientific publications and clinical publication related initiatives

  • Assists with the preparation and coordination of electronic database (e-learning). Compiles and maintains e-learning employee reports

  • Support other project responsibilities, as assigned

  • Required Qualifications

    • Working toward a Bachelor degree

    • Experience working effectively and confidently in a team environment

    • Strong analytical and organization skills

    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

    • Detail-oriented approach to tasks and problem solving

    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities with attention to detail

    • Able to work with multiple Associates and prioritize projects to meet deadlines

    • MS Office proficiency with emphasis on Excel software

    Desired Qualifications

    • Interest/experience in the medical devices industry and Professional Affairs and Clinical Education

    • Strong software applications experience

    Additional Information

    • The primary work location for this position is Aliso Viejo, CA (company headquarters). Hybrid – remote/in-office option.

    • Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship.

    • Relocation may be available for qualified candidates.
